I am not a bean snob. I am not tied to my "favorite" bean. I will buy whatever I find at a good price. Over the years I have occasionally been disappointed with my discount beans.

Nuevo exudes an overture of confidence. For starters, the golden crema is near perfection, almost billowy and lasting in duration. My opinion is as follows, based on years of coffee brewing...Monaco is as good or better than any of the Lavazza products, better than Malabar Gold, Torefazione, Illy, Vivace.....in fact, I've tried most all of the espresso beans over the years. Its just OK. A little overpriced for what it is. Makes a decent espresso/coffee, but I believe there are much better. It all depends on a persons taste buds and likes and dislikes. I say try them all to find what you like and love.
