In this video Todd and Marc from WholeLatteLove.com show you how to manually prime a Gaggia Platinum espresso machine. In rare cases when starting up a new or refurbished machine or when it's been sitting idle for a long time manual priming may be required to force water into the pump. You will typically get an error message or warning lights indicating the machine failed to self-prime.
