Nutella Espresso Lovers Mug Cake
Ingredients:Directions:
Wow, compared to our drinks, this might look like a lot, but really it’s an easy recipe for a quick dessert for all coffee lovers who want some chocolate on Valentine’s Day. All of the ingredients get mixed right into a 12 oz microwave safe coffee mug, making everything simple. Also, a special thanks to the The Novice Housewife for creating this recipe!
First, whisk your egg into the mug with a fork. When the yolk is broken, add milk, salt, espresso (or instant coffee), sugar, cocoa powder, and the vegetable oil and mix everything well. After everything is mixed, add your 3 tbsp. of nutella. Mix it in well, as the nutella is pretty thick. Add your flour in slowly and fold as you go. This might take a minute to incorporate, so just be patient and just keep on folding!
Put your cup in the microwave for 2 ½ minutes. Let it cool for a few minutes before adding whip cream and strawberries to the very top for a complete dessert.
