Frozen Irish Coffee
Irish coffees are most popular around St. Patrick’s day, but using frozen ingredients and blending them together adds a new twist that makes it perfect for summer weather.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold brew, frozen into ice cubes (I brewed with Whole Latte Love’s Beamed Up for an added smoky flavor, but a medium or light roast will also work nicely)
- 1 oz Irish cream
- 1 oz kahlua
- Brown sugar simple syrup to taste (I used about ½ oz)
Directions
- Brew your cold brew, and once it’s ready to drink, pour it into an ice mold and let it freeze, about 4 hours.
- Once the cold brew is fully frozen, combine the cold brew ice cubes with the tequila, kahlua, and simple syrup in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Rim your margarita glass with your brown sugar simple syrup, then dip the rim in brown sugar.
- Pour your frozen mixture into your margarita glass.
- Enjoy!
