Learn what the blinking triangle indicator might mean for your Gaggia Brera. Be sure this is the ONLY light on the screen. If ANY OTHER lights are on, the meaning will be different. Most of the time it will be something simple.
The Blinking Triangle Indicator Can Mean 1 of 3 Things:
-
The Service Door is Open
- Ensure the machine is fully assembled, meaning the brew unit is inserted, the door is closed, and the drip tray and drawers are pushed into place.
- See our article on Micro-Switches and Sensors for help with the service door sensor.
-
Turn the knob to the correct position
- The machine cannot dispense from the coffee spouts unless the knob is straight up and down.
- If the knob seems to be correct, try toggling it out of position and then back into the proper position.
-
Brew Group is not detected
