This is my first double boiler machine. Initially, I was hesitant spending the extra money for another espresso machine, however, in retrospect I should not have hesitated because it's a great machine and it makes a world of difference. The machine works perfectly. It's totally effortless to make a latte or cappuccino. I wish it would use a little less blow down water as I occasionally forget to empty the water from the cath tray and once it gets completely full, it's hard to do without making a watery mess. But then, that's part of the E61 design. The boiler temperature may drop below the 255 when used simultaneously, but still made good steamed milk. Net net, I think it's a great espresso machine.
