Owning the Quamar M80 On Demand

The Quamar M80 On Demand nixes the doser present on the Manual and Timer versions for a sleek funnel and electronic controls. The On Demand allows you to easily program a single, double, and triple dose for those extra groggy mornings, and dispenses them, well, on demand. The buttons can all be individually programmed to dispense by time in 1/20th of a second increments for maximum precision. Using the display, you can program the date and time; an automatic shut off timer, so the On Demand powers down after a certain amount of inactivity; adjust the brightness; or, you can even program in a burr replacement alert to display on screen when the burrs have seen their day. The grind can be adjusted across a vast 60 settings, making it versatile enough to grind for coarse or fine brew methods. The M80 On Demand’s thoughtful design complements any cafe or home barista set up.

Using the M80 On Demand is as simple as pressing a button. Grounds are dispensed through a funnel directly into your portafilter just after they’re ground to ensure maximum freshness. Navigating the On Demand’s menu is intuitive, so it’s easy to personalize each setting according to your particular taste. Like the M80 Manual and Timer, the On Demand is commercial quality and boasts an ETL certification, so it’s an excellent addition to any cafe or entertainer’s kitchen. Internally, each of the M80’s feature 63mm burrs backed up by a powerful 460 watt motor for a high grinding speed of 1600 RPM. Quamar’s commitment to quality components and Italian manufacturing sure makes for a reliable set of grinders. If you prefer a doser grinder, check out the M80 Manual for easy on/off operation; for added functionality, the Timer can automatically dispense up to 60 seconds worth of grinds into the doser.

  • Programmable Electronic Dosing

The top tier in Quamar’s M80 series, the On Demand eschews the doser for electronic dosing at the press of button. Customize a single, double, even a triple shot within 1/20th of a second, all to your liking in just a few clicks.

  • Removable Bean Hopper

The Quamar M80 On Demand’s one pound hopper can be stopped and removed in order to access the burrs for cleaning or calibration, or simply to swap between roasts. For even greater capacity, Quamar offers an interchangeable tall hopper that holds up to 2.65 pounds.
