Acaia Pyxis
Acaia’s Pyxis scale was designed to be compact and functional for the everyday barista. The Pyxis is capable of weighing between 0.01 grams up to 500 grams of coffee. The high-resolution scale picks up the weight of a feather ensuring sensitive and precise measurements for your everyday espresso and is water resistant to keep your scale running smoothly. The Pyxis scale is small and perfect for traveling at 2.55 x 2.55 inches so you can pack the Pyxis in it’s very own carrying case for easy, safe and lightweight travels.
The Pyxis has three built-in weighing modes for weighing only, a dual display mode, and an auto start mode that starts the timer as soon as your espresso hits the cup. This useful feature is great for weighing your dose and pulling your espresso with precise measurements every time. A feature that we found most impressive was the mobile app compatibility. The Pyxis connects via bluetooth to Acaia’s free apps including Updater, Brewguide, Brewmaster, Brewbar, and Coffee, for an enhanced brewing experience.
