The JURA Impressa S9 One Touch Classic is a super-automatic espresso machine that can prepare cappuccinos and latte macchiatos at the touch of a button. With a high capacity water reservoir, dual thermoblock heating system, multiple programmable drink options, and simple yet elegant design, this machine is rightfully known as the flagship of the Impressa S series.
9 Programmable Drink Specialities
Craft your own custom drink with control over a number of variables including brew volume, coffee strength, and brew temperature. You can program custom settings for your favorite drinks and brew your preferred beverage again and again at the touch of a button.
You individually program 9 separate drink specialties including:
- 1 Cappuccino
- 1 Coffee
- 2 Coffees
- 1 Espresso
- 2 Espressi
- 1 Ristretto
- 2 Ristretti
Dual Thermoblock Heating Systems
To eliminate the delay between brewing and steaming, the S9 Classic is equipped with two stainless steel lined aluminum thermoblocks for a rapid one-touch experience.
Automatic Cappuccino Frother
To prepare one-touch milk specialties, the JURA S9 Classic uses an automatic cappuccino system to siphon milk from a separate container to froth and dispense. The amount of steam injected into the milk can be adjusted on a sliding scale for more or less foam. The automatic frother also doubles as a spout to dispense hot water for drinks like tea and cocoa.
9.9oz Bean Hopper
The Bean hopper holds up to 9.9oz of whole bean coffee that is ground fresh for each drink you prepare. To prevent the grinder from running empty, the S9 Classic is equipped with an optical sensor that monitors the bean hopper and prevents the machine from brewing if there is not enough coffee. In addition to using whole beans, the machine also features a bypass doser that allows you to fill the brew group directly with pre-ground coffee without having to empty the hopper.
Aroma + Grinder
The S9 Classic uses JURA's advanced Aroma + grinder for higher speed and quieter grinding. Coffee is ground fresh every time you brew with a set of steel conical burrs to ensure even grinding and perfect extraction conditions.
Water Reservoir and Filter
The ample 90.3oz water reservoir allows you to brew drink after drink before having to refill it. Located on the side of the machine, the reservoir is made of clear plastic allowing you to monitor your water level and can be removed for easy refilling. For improved flavor and to protect the longevity of your machine, the reservoir can be fitted with a CLEARYL Blue water filter.
Automatic Maintenance and Energy Saving
To assist with maintenance, the S9 Classic can be programmed with the hardness of your water to alert you when it is time to descale your machine. The internal dreg box can hold 16 pucks of coffee and the drip tray is electronically monitored and the machine will alert you when the water level is too high and it needs to be emptied.
There are also automatic rinse cycles to clean the spouts on your machine to prevent the buildup of coffee oils and milk residue. In order to reduce energy consumption after an extended period of inactivity, the machine will power down into energy save mode, reducing consumption from 40 Watts per hour to 20 Watts per hour. You can also program an automatic shut-off time to power down the machine after a set duration to further reduce energy use.
