The JURA WE6 is a high capacity automatic coffee and espresso machine with a selection of 8 different specialties, a 3 liter water tank, and 500 gram bean container.
Out of the box, the WE6 impresses with its sleek black housing and significant capacities. JURA’s Aroma G3 grinder is quiet, consistent, and efficient. For a more full-bodied espresso and decidedly thicker crema, the WE6 uses the JURA’s Pulse Extraction Process, to fire pulses of water through your grounds to get the most out of extraction.
Unlike the WE8, the JURA WE6 doesn't feature a Fine Foam Frother and instead uses a hot water dispenser located near the brew spouts. With that in mind, the WE6 is perfect for the coffee and espresso purist.
The WE6 is also incredibly easy to use; cycle through options on the color TFT display with the intuitive push button interface, and select a drink to personalize or brew. The WE6 is as simple to keep clean as it is to brew with, especially with the Clearyl Smart water filter installed in the 3 L reservoir to ensure great tasting coffee and reduce the need for descaling.
As on all JURA machines, the cleaning cycles are completely automated, and a warning pops up on the screen to let you know it’s time for a little maintenance. All you have to do is add the designated cleaner and press start and the WE6 cleans its own brew group and descales the boiler system. As a reminder, the max recommended output is 30 drinks per day.
The Variable Brewing Unit lets you prepare your drinks with anywhere from 5-16 grams of coffee, and JURA’s Intelligent Pre-Brew Aroma System pre-infuses those grounds before brewing to ensure the best possible extraction. You can also make adjustments to the coffee temperature and volume for each individual drink.
The WE8 employs JURA’s innovative Pulse Extraction Process brewing system. As opposed to a constant flow, water is instead pulsed through the grounds in short intervals that extract greater intensity and aroma while shortening the overall brew time. With P.E.P., espresso and ristretto can be prepared with greater clarity and flavor than ever before.
JURA's Intelligent Water System makes use of RFID technology to automatically detect when the WE6 has been fitted with a filter. The CLEARYL Smart / Pro Smart water filter protects against limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals in your water to preserve the flavor of your coffee and extend the WE8’s lifespan.
JURA's Aroma G3 grinder ensures quiet, even, and super fast grinding. The grinder can be adjusted to one of seven fineness settings to affect the overall extraction time, and features a refined burr set with cutting angles that have been perfected for more even grinding and higher efficiency.
