The Nuova Simonelli Musica is something of a chameleon when it comes to home espresso machines. Built with NSF approved, commercial grade components, this machine would fit in a small cafe as easily as on a kitchen countertop. No matter where you decide to put it, the Musica is an exquisitely crafted automatic machine with a gorgeous exterior and an all copper water system.

Fans of the Art Deco style will be drawn to alternating curved and straight lines found on machine's housing. This aesthetic is further accentuated by the LED lined frame of the Musica Lux. The front, back, and side panels of machine are made from mirror-finished stainless steel while the frame rests atop 1.65\" legs keeping it comfortably elevated above your countertop. The Musica's 3 liter water reservoir can be accessed from the top of the machine behind the cup warming tray. The Musica also sports a front mounted gauge allowing you to keep an eye on boiler pressure. Lastly, you can access the and adjust the pressure stat, which is located behind the drip tray.

As an automatic machine, the Musica uses volumetric brew buttons that can be programmed to your liking and features an on/off pre-infusion function. Additionally, the hot water button can also be programmed to a volume of your choosing for making drinks like Americanos and tea. Brew temperature stability is aided by the E61 style group head which is heated by a thermosyphon system and also by the copper boiler and water lines. Copper is known for heat retentive qualities and has been a lauded plumbing material for decades. The Musica's boiler holds 2.5 liters and features a heat exchanger, allowing you to brew and steam simultaneously, which is especially useful in high volume commercial environments.

For making drinks like cappuccinos and lattes, the Musica has a ball mounted 4-hole latte art steam wand fitted with a no-burn sleeve for safe adjustment. In lieu of a traditional knob, the steam valve is controlled by a two position switch, allowing it to be opened and closed instantly for more precise control. On a final note, each machine is packaged with 58mm single and double spout portafilters, a single and double shot filter basket, and a backflush disc.
