The Profitec RIDE is a powerful reimagining of its predecessor, the Profitec Pro 600. The same great machine in many ways, the RIDE brings modern touches like simultaneous boiler heating, externally-adjustable OPV, an OLED PID menu, modular portafilter, time-of-day programming, and more. Profitec also updated the aesthetics of the RIDE, giving it a black, powder-coated housing with a satin steel front plate for a sleek, modern look. The bakelite joystick valve and portafilter handles can all be easily swapped out for wood accenting to further elevate the style of this machine.

The marquee improvement from the Pro 600 to the RIDE is its ability to simultaneously heat the brew and steam boilers for a much faster heat-up time (8-10 minutes) and more consistent steam power overall. The RIDE also features Profitec’s new, OLED PID menu, which uses plain-text prompts and clear, helpful icons for a more intuitive navigation experience. This updated menu gives you full control over the RIDE’s functionality: set precise temperatures in both the brew and steam boilers, set daily wake-up and turn-off scheduling so the RIDE will be ready to brew when you need it, program the automatic pre-infusion to mitigate channeling, turn off the steam boiler entirely if you’re only brewing espresso, and a whole suite of other helpful features for keeping your machine brewing optimally. 

PID temperature regulation pinpoints boiler temperatures much more precisely, while the dual boiler design ensures that each boiler is monitored and heated independently ensuring greater stability. The RIDE features a 2.8 L reservoir, 0.75 L stainless steel brew boiler, and 1 L stainless steel steam boiler, as well as two uniquely blue gauges that read out brew and boiler pressure. 

The Fast Heat Up functionality overheats both boilers so they reach functional temperatures even quicker.
