Solis Tamping Mat Black Silicone
Tamping espresso without a tamping mat can scratch or dent your countertop and your portafilter. It’s also a lot more difficult to get a good tamp if your portafilter is sliding around on a nonstick surface.
Solis’ tamping mat is made from high-quality silicone that grips your countertop to prevent slipping and sliding while you’re doing the important work of preparing your puck.
It’s got a 90° angle that hugs the edge of your countertop for even more stability and control, plus a raised edge that helps to contain any spillage that might occur.
Wash it by hand or toss it in the dishwasher for an easy clean and it’ll be ready to go the next time you need an espresso.
